Spotted this place in the lanes of fatih merkez. They have a seting capacity of 40-45 people inside. We decided to order a chicken shawarma and chicken leg with some flavoured rice. Dmages to the pocket - 30 turkish lira ( approx US $ 5.80 ) Overall experience - decent portions , good service. I would rate this place 3 on 5.

Pilav ve et başarılı. Yöresel yemekleri yine yöresel bir sunumla çömlek veya taş kapta geliyor. Porsiyonlar fazlasıyla doyurucu, ne kadar çok merak etsem de büyük kupalarda servis ettikleri meyve şölenlerine asla yer kalmıyor.

We came upon this Yemeni restaurant by chance when neighbouring Syrian restaurant "Saruja" (which is also excellent) was fully booked. It turned out to be the highlight of the evening! We ordered the Fahseh and we simply could not stop eating! Service was prompt, courteous and very pleasant...The food was delicious! Both this restaurant and Saruja are quite far away from Sultanahmet but they provide an excellent and cheap alternative to the tourist traps in Sultanahmet....We will definitely come back when we are in Istanbul.

Klasik Arap lokantalarından olup Fatih civarındaki kendi müşteri grubunu çoktan oluşturmuş eli yüzü düzgün mekânlardan..Fiyat/Porsiyon oranı farkedilir derecede uygun, bazı yemek türlerinde oldukça ideal ve doyurucu hatta bizim yerli lokantalara göre aynı kaliteyi çok ucuz yiyebileceğiniz menüler var.. Hiç arapçam olmamasına ve çok defa uğramama rağmen hiçbir sıkıntı yaşamadım.. Akşam saatlerinde oldukça yoğun oluyor. Alt katı daha çok gir-çık şeklinde üst katı daha büyük. Ayrıca tatlılarına aşina olanlar için tatlı çeşitleri ve sıkma meyve suyu yapan reyonu da var. Negatif diyebileceğim tek unsur bazen üst katta iseniz siparişi geç almaları fakat onu da bir iki sefer yaşadım. Çok çetrefilli bişey istemedi iseniz siparişiniz 15-20 dk içinde geliyor. Burayı meraklısına ve ekonomi yapma zorunda olduğunuz zamanlarda kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.
