Meşale Cafe & Restaurant

Location is very near to blue mosque. Ambience is great, loved the sufi dance performance. Restaurant is very spacious. The only disappointing thing was its mutton kebbas they were not cooked propery was like chewing a rubber.

We went here for our first meal in Istanbul. This restaurant in sultanahmet is opened till late in the night. The food was decent and the cai was refreshing. They have the whirling dervish shows happening here. Make sure to get here early to get some good seats.

Um espaço muito agradável. Tipico de Istambul, podemos comer, jogar gamão ou mesmo fumar narguilé. Por volta das 19h, todos os dias, tem música turca acompanhada de um ritual Sufi.

It cost about x8 the price of a standard restaurant, plates come not even near as what they are described and taste is very average. Extremely disappointed

We found the place while strolling along. We did not look at the reviews and decided to give it a try. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. They had live music and dancing dervish. It was quite busy but they gave us great seats. The food was excellent. We had Urfa kebabs that were delicious and perfectly cooked. One person in our party had food allergies and they went out of their way to accommodate. We had a wonderful evening and tried it again 2 nights later with even better experience.

Great location with live music. Food was good and quick service. Different people with different experiences which I cannot compare but we went on a peak time with a full restaurant and a toddler. It was good.

Good atmosphere and live music which was great. But the food quality wasn't great and the service was terrible. I have never seen someone clean the table by just hand and that to when you are still sitting and eating your food!!

Temos claramente de baixar as expectativas e entrar no espirito e na cultura típica do país. Não é um lugar que nos faça voltar mas a localização é fantástica mesmo ao lado da mesquita Hagia Sophia. Vale pela experiência. tinha curiosidade em provar o café turco.. e acreditem é bastante mau =) comparado com o nosso expresso. Em contrapartida a chicha é ótima. tem musica tradicional turca ao vivo o que nos faz passar um bom bocado. Dada a sua localização, o preço reflecte-se.
